VMIC offers an SBus to VMEbus adapter and a line of Reflective Memories for SBus and Sun 3/4 Computers.

VMIC also offers a line of networked-based Universal I/O Controllers (UIOCs) which currently include support for the SPARC family of microprocessors. A low-cost RS-232/RS-485 Serial I/O version is also available. The UIOC includes VMIC firmware and optional host software which provides an effective "turnkey" I/O subsystem when coupled with a variety of VMIC I/O boards, chassis, backplanes, bus repeaters, power supplies, etc. Using a general-purpose, high-level language, the UIOC is easily configured to scan inputs, update outputs, execute user-selectable engineering unit conversions, calculations, sequence-of-events, closed loop control, and supports built-in-test for VMIC's BITMODULES (a subset of VMIC boards which support off-line and on-line fault detection and isolation).
